Yesterday - The Beatles

There are numerous songs in the world and new songs are made now. Though there are many new songs I like, I like old songs more than new song. ' Yesterdsy ' is one of the old songs I like. I makes me feel gloomy, but I like this type of music.

The Beatles - Yesterday

Yesterday all my troubles seemed so far away

Now it looks as thought they're here to stay

Oh I believe in yesterday

Suddenly I'm not half the man I used to be

There's a shadow hanging over me

Oh yesterday cam suddenly

Why she had to go I don't know she wouln't say

I said something wrong now I long for yesterday

Yesterday love was such an easy game to play

Now I need a place to hide away

Oh I believe in yesterday

Why she had to go I don't know she wouln't say

I said something wrong now I long for yesterday

Yesterday love was such an easy game to play

Now I need a place to hide away

Oh I believe in yesterday...

The Beatles

I love musics. And there are many bands I like. The Beatles is one of the bands.

The Beatles is the most successful British pop group. They started a band called ' The Quarrymen ' in 1958. They then changed their name to ' Long John and the Silver Beatles ', which was later shortened to ' The Beatles '. In 1960 and 1961 they developed an individual musical style which made them very popular. A combination of charm, humor and excellent pop music contributed to their incredible popularity. Suddenly, the entire world was hit by Beatlemania.

John Lennon and Paul McCartney were the main creative forces behind the group. They composed nearly all of the Beatles' songs, with a few exceptions such as ' The Yellow Submarine ', by Ringo Starr, and George Harrison's Something. But by the end of the 60s, it was clear that there were major artistic differences between the members, and in 1970 the band broke up.

John Lennon was killed in New York in 1980. Fifteen years later, the other three members got together and made a single called ' Free as a Bird ', which few people liked. I'm regrettable about there story. Although they are not exist now, they are the best !

My thinking about teen's crime

I read a news that some teenagers who live in my neighborhood commited an outrage on a passerby. I'm afraid and worry about this news. I think teenagers can easily do crime and join gangs.

One reason I believe it is easy for teens to do crime is because adults are not as involved in chilren's lives as they once were. First, most parents are working outside the immediate neighborood where their children go to school. Parents work long hours, commute between home and work, and run the errands needed to keep a house running, spending fewer hours with children than ever before.

Second, because of greater mobility, most children do not have extended family members in their lives, such as grandparents, aunts and uncles, to provide a network of relations to keep an eye on their activities.

If there is good environment, teenagers can be good people. People should do something to solve this problem...

A Volunteer Work

This is an essay about my volunteer work. Last summer vacation, I went to Milyang with Daegu Hometown Group. We went there to do medical volunteer work. I went there when I was junior, so it was my second time. When I went there as a junior, there was a lot of patients, so I could experience many thing. So I had many expectation.

Milyang is very very small town. So patients who live there could't get medical service easily. We, as students and doctors, could give them medical service free of charge and study about medicine.

At the first day, like last year, there we were about hundred people waiting for us to get treatment. There were many people who came last year. We were glad to meet them again. We started our work.

There were some trouble. Old people waited for an hours to get treatment. There were a lot of complaints. It was the problem that we experience last year, so we could easily solve it. We talked with them like their grandsons and granddaughters not to bore them. They were saticefied and we were also happy.

Day by day, there were more patients. So we had to work very hard. At the final day, We were almost fainted. But I felt happiness because I could help someone. This work also gave me knowledge about oriental medicine. I was very satisfied. I want to go volunteer work again next year.

Trekking around the desert (Jaisalmer)

When my friend and I were in Jaisalmer, we trekked around the desert by camel. It was the most evocative and fun way to sample desert life.

Before went on camel safari, it was hard to find safari organisers. None of the hotels have their own camels. So the hotliers and the travel agencies are just go-between. We were afraid, because we may cheated again. However we decided to trust them again.

The desert was good. I had never seen desert before. It was great experience. Although we couldn't see dune seas, we saw Great Thar Desert, sprinkled with villages and ruins. We often saw tiny fields of millet, and children herding flocks of cheep or goats, whose neckbells tinkle in the desert silence.

Camping out at night, huddling around a tiny fire beneath the stars and listening to the camel drivers' songs, is magically romantic. There were numerous stars in the sky. I could see many constellations like Orion, the Great Bear.

After the safari, the camel drivers expected a tip or gift. We satisfied the safari, so give them much money. I will never forget the camel safari.

My trip to India (Delhi)

My friend ans I went to India last winter vacation. At first we went to Delhi. Delhi is India's fascinating and sometimes frustrating capital. Delhi encapsulates two very different worlds. each presenting deliciously different experiences. New Delhi was buit as the imperial visitors can effortlessly dip into both worlds, spending half the day soaking up history at the Res Fort, Jama Masjid and medieval-flavoured bazaars of Old Delhi, and the other half reviving themselves over a frothy cappuccino or ice-cold beer in one of central New Delhi's restaurants or bars. We were happy to know that Delhi's gobal menus offer everything from rich Mughlai curries to crispy wood-fired pizzas.

Now I will say about my tour. On the first day of Delhi, we were cheated by Indian. But next day we felt better, and went on tour. we stepped back in time at the exemplary National Museum, then grabbed an autorickshaw southwest to peek at Safdarjang's Tomb. And we tucked into a scrummy seafood lunch at the restaurant. After lunch, we spent the afternoon exploring the sublime Humayun's Tomb, which is also in this area.

On day three, we rambled around Old Delhi's hisoric Red Fort and Jama Masjid. Afterwards, we headed south to Connaught Place for a bite to eat and spot of shopping. And we saw magnificent government and state emporiums. In the evenig, we watched the mesmerising Dances of India, then chill out at one of Delhi's hip bars.

Although we experienced some bad happenig, we had great time in Delhi. On the forth day, we went to the next city.

concert

My band had a concert on October 8, a college campus festibal. We play 4 musics.

하하하송 - 자우림

오리날다 - 체리필터

bomtrack - R.A.T.M.

mono - Courtney love

We practiced hard to prepare this concert. We play '하하하송'and '오리날다' very well.
However, when we played 'bomtrack', terrible thing happened. When we played it, we had our eyes bandaged to show audiences our ability. But we made some mistakes. We were disappointed and shamed. We should have be modest.
Although we made a little mistakes, it was a great success. We enjoyed our time together.

Backpack to Europe

I backpacked around Europe with my university friends in summer vacation last year. I visited seven countries ; England, France, Italy, Switzerland, Austria, Germany, Czech.

This photo was taken in front of the Louvre. The left is my high school friend, and the right is me. He also backpacked around Europe with his university friends. I encountered him in front of Louvre by chance, so I was very happy to meet him.

The picture on the right is the bottom of the Alps. I was so happy, because of nice weather, clean air, good scenery. My friends and I went hiking by bicycle. After went to hiking, we climbed the mountain by train. We can take many beautiful photo. On the top, there was snow. so we skied. I think that above seven countries, switzerland was the best country to travel.

I went to only western Europe. So I want to go to the southern Europe like Spain, Portugal, Greece and so on. I heard that Spain is Joshua, my Enlish writing teacher,'s country. I really want to go there later !
